Do you bill directly to insurance companies?

We do not process direct billing, but rather  provide you with a paid invoice to submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement. Please prior to booking, check that your policy covers services from RSW Registered Social Workers.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Mental health support should be accessible for anyone who needs it. Please inquire about limited low cost counselling options if this is a barrier for you. We will make every effort to find an option or source of funding that can help you along your mental health journey.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy is a collaborative process and there is no definitive answer to this question. The length of therapy depends on the needs and goals that you have, as well as the methods and strategies that we (you and your counsellor) determine are the most suitable approach to those goals.

What are you doing to accommodate clients during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We are currently only offering virtual and telephone sessions.

Are you on the First Nations Health Authority list of approved providers ?

Yes Good Medicine is one of the approved providers for First Nations Health Authority Mental Health Benefits. We can help you to navigate this system and find out which program you may be eligible to access.
